The Institute offers many additional performance opportunities throughout the season.
Some of these opportunities include:
Nutcracker
A Fairytale of magic to our version of The Nutcracker, a timeless classic that brings the seasons dreams to life. With ever changing props and costumes that shimmer with winters crystalline beauty, you will find your heart dancing with Clara and the nutcracker prince as they over come obstacles on their way to the Land of Sweets. It's the perfect holiday entertainment for adults and children alike.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
At a garden party on a sunny afternoon, Alice is surprised to see a human dressed white rabbit. When she follows him down a rabbit hole events become curiouser and curiouser....
As Alice journeys through wonderland, she encounters countless strange creatures. Confusion piles upon confusion. Then Alice wakes with a start. Was it all a dream?

Brave New Dancers
A student based showcase, that allows students the opportunity to create and choreograph their own work on fellow dancers. The choreographer gets the opportunity to pick costumes, and learn the in"s and outs of teaching their own lighting. The performance is audition based, and takes place in March. Auditions are held in January.

Hansel & Gretel
Hungry and lost in the forest, Hansel and Gretel stumble upon a house made of delicious confections and find themselves welcomed by a witch who's keen interest in them has a sinister motive. Filled with bluebirds, deer and gingerbread men, Brother Grimms tale is the perfect adventure for the entire family.

Peter & The Wolf
A symphonic fairy tale by the composer Sergei Prokiev, performed with a narrator, the musical work is an introduction to the instruments of the orchestra and a delightful ballet Each character in the story is personified by the instruments and melody.

Mason Dance Project
A professional level modern/ Jazz dance Co. founded in 1996 by choreographer Rachael Mason. The Company was created to carry out a vision of classic modern dance heritage into a competitive community. To bring art, education and movement together to enrich our schools, community events, and and local theaters. The company performs annually in April, but is also available for local and touring events, benefits, and school residencies. The company holds auditions in August for new and aspiring dancers.
Studio Musical
Our studio Musical is based off our Musical Theater dance program we offer at the studio. Each season we pick a mix of broadway musicals, monologues, and plays, and combine them together to create a fun filled evening in May called our
Mixed Musical!

Annual Festival of The Trees
A festival in downtown Syracuse held in December at the
Everson Museum.
The museum offers a week of beautiful holiday decor and entertainment, that a select group of our dancers have the opportunity to be part of each year.
It's a great way to bring in the Holiday season!
