Rae’s Institute of Dance is a classical concert based studio that offers several performance opportunities a year.

Each season begins with a revolving holiday production of either Clara‘s Dream The Nutcracker Story, the Snow Queen or the Holiday dance festival.

 

We then enter our winter season with our pre-professional audition based series. The 2026/2027 season will be auditioning for Cinderella, on July 25 and 26th. Previous productions include Peter and the Wolf, Alice’s adventures in Wonderland, the Magic Toy Shop, Hansel and Gretel, and the Carnival of the Animals.

 

Our season continues with our mixed musical for any students enrolled in our musical theater class. The Musical production includes a cabaret style performance of well-known musicals and monologues incorporating  ensemble dance works.

Dancers ages 17 and older, have the opportunity to audition for our professional modern dance company, the Mason Dance Project. The company produces modern and jazz based choreography presented every April, opening Spring with a wine and live music event. Often accompanied by local musicians and vendors.

Our season ends with our annual student spring concert at the Everson  Museum of Art.
